Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
The short version
- I collect what you choose to send me, plus basic visit data through my host and, with your consent where the law requires it, Google Analytics.
- I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for ads.
- I don't add you to a newsletter. Mine lives on Substack, and you join it there yourself.
- You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete what I hold about you: hello@practiceeverything.com.
- Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, you choose, and you can change your choice at any time under Privacy choices.
Who I am
I'm Shaun Tinney, an Enneagram coach and team facilitator based in Los Angeles, California. I run this site and my coaching work through Practice Everything LLC. When this page says “I” or “me,” it means Practice Everything LLC. I decide how your information is used, so I'm responsible for it.
What I collect
When you send me a message. Your name, your email, the topics you're interested in, and an optional message, plus which button you used to open the form. I store it and get a copy by email so I can reply personally.
When you request a team proposal. Your name, your email, the options you picked (format, team size, delivery, add-on), the estimate they produce, and anything you add about your company or goals. Stored and emailed to me the same way as a message.
When you take the Leadership ROAD Map. You can take it and see your result without giving me your name or email. Your browser saves your progress on your device. Your answers reach me only if you ask for your results by email. Then I collect your first name, your email, your answers and result, a record that you agreed (the exact wording and time), a random code that prevents duplicate emails, and whether the email went out. I use this to email you your results and a suggested practice, and I get a short note so I know your request came in. No newsletter, no automatic follow-up. The ROAD Map is a reflection tool, not a validated psychological assessment.
The private coaching workspace. Coaching clients get a password to a private page with a longer ROAD Map. Answers in progress aren't saved. If you email your result, I collect the same details as above, and your browser keeps your answers on your device until you choose Retake or lock the workspace.
When you book a call. Bookings happen on Calendly, which collects what you enter and shares it with me. This site doesn't send Calendly your ROAD Map answers or result. Calls happen on the video-call service I use, under its own policy.
When we work together.
- The iEQ9. You take it on the platform run by Integrative Enneagram Solutions (IES). I give IES your name and email; IES shares your results with me so we can go through your report together. Your report includes a measure of how much stress you're carrying right now. I treat the whole report as private.
- EnneagramGenius. Some programs include EnneagramGenius, a separate platform for profiles, pairing reads, and team workspaces. I give it your name, email, and type. In a team workspace, teammates see your type and nothing else.
- Team programs. The person who books gives me the names and work emails of the people taking part.
- Our work. I keep notes from our sessions, practice plans, team maps and practice briefs, written check-ins, and our emails. With everyone's permission, I may record or transcribe a session; recordings and transcripts are kept with my client records. For billing, I keep your name, email, what you bought, and payment records. Payments go through the payment service I use, so I never see your full card number.
When you visit. Like every website, this one receives technical details with each visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, and the site that sent you. My host, Vercel, handles these requests and keeps logs for a limited time. Google Analytics, when it runs, collects similar details about how the site is used.
What I don't collect. No accounts, no checkout, no file uploads. The forms don't ask for your age, health, or other sensitive details. Please don't send them.
How I use it
- To reply to you and talk through what you need.
- To send the results or proposal you asked for.
- To schedule and run our work together, and to bill for it.
- To see which pages help people and fix the ones that don't.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
- To keep records the law requires, like tax records.
I don't sell your information or use or share it for ads. I never use type or ROAD Map results to hire, promote, or rate anyone, and I don't give your employer your report.
Google Analytics and your choices
I use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the site. It runs only on the live site, never on the private coaching workspace. Google signals and ad personalization are off. Google sees which of the site's main pages you visit, not the rest of the web address, and the site that sent you is shortened to its main address. It counts simple actions: link and button clicks, sections you scroll to, form starts and sends, ROAD Map progress, and page speed. I never send Google your name, email, messages, answers, results, or the prices you configure. Google still receives your IP address and browser details when Analytics loads and uses them to estimate your city or country. Detailed visit data is kept for up to 14 months; summary reports stay in my account longer.
- If you visit from the EU, the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland (or your location can't be determined), Analytics doesn't load until you accept the prompt. Declining keeps it off.
- Privacy choices: where you're asked, you can change your answer at any time on this page under Privacy choices. Turning it off stops tracking right away and removes the Analytics cookies, without touching your saved ROAD Map progress.
- You can also install Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), block cookies for this site, or use a content blocker. The site works the same either way.
Google explains what it does with this data at “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). No ad networks or other trackers run here, and I don't track you across other websites. Google may collect information about your visits here over time and combine it with information from other sites and apps that use its services, as its own policy describes.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This site doesn't respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. It works the same either way. Where consent is required, Analytics still waits for your choice.
How long I keep it
- Messages, proposal requests, and results requests: the site's database deletes them automatically two years after you send them.
- Copies in my inbox: they stay until I clear them. I delete them when you ask.
- Client records (notes, recordings and transcripts, practice plans, reports, check-ins): two years after our last session together.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires.
- Spam protection: a scrambled code made from your IP address or email, not the address itself, deleted automatically within three days.
- Google Analytics: detailed visit data for up to 14 months.
- My providers' own logs and backups expire on their own schedules.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections. Visitors' browsers can't reach the database; only the site's server and I can. Access to what you send is limited to me and the services listed above. No website or inbox is perfectly secure. If I learn of a breach that affects your information, I'll tell you.
Your rights
- You don't have to give me your name or email to use this site.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information I hold about you. If you agreed to let me store your results, you can change your mind at any time.
- Email hello@practiceeverything.com or reply to any email from me. I may ask you to confirm the request from the address I have on file. I'll respond within 30 days. I may keep what the law requires, like billing records.
- For iEQ9 data, ask me and I'll take care of it with IES, or contact IES at privacy@integrative9.com.
California residents. I don't sell or share your personal information as California law defines those terms, and I don't use it for targeted ads. I won't treat you differently for making a request.
EU and UK residents. I'm based in the United States, and most of my providers process information there; IES hosts iEQ9 data in the Netherlands. I rely on your consent for analytics and results emails (withdraw it at any time), on your request or our agreement for messages, proposals, bookings, and coaching, on my legitimate interest in protecting a small website for spam protection and security logs, and on my legal obligations for required records. You can see your information or get a copy in a portable form, correct it or have it deleted, object to or limit how I use it, and withdraw consent. No decision about you is made by a machine. You can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO), but please tell me first.
Children
This site and my services are for adults. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.
Links to other sites
This site links to Calendly, Substack, practiceeverything.com, Spotify, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Listen Notes, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. None are embedded, so they receive information only once you click through, under their own policies.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, I'll say so at the top of this page for at least 30 days, and I won't use information I already have in a significantly new way without asking you first.
